Samuel and the installation team at TuffPaw Air completed a heating and cooling installation in Arlington, TX. Customer call Friday afternoon, and let us know that his system was low on refrigerant and it was charged up by another company. We quickly arrived at the home after the service call was placed the same day, and notice the system was flat on refrigerant, we explain this to the customer and proceed to do a nitrogen test to find the leak and its size. We found a rather large leak coming from the evaporator coil. With the new changes of refrigerant, and given that the system was R-22 and over 20 years old. We presented the option of replacing the system. The customer was already aware of this and understood that a replacement makes sense after several options and answering all the questions. The customer decided to move forward, so we scheduled the install for the following Monday. On installation day, the customer received an update from the office that the crew was on its way to start the installation. The crew worked to remove the old equipment and installed the Goodman condenser and air handler. After completion, we went over all the new features. Now our customer can rest knowing his system will work properly to heat and cool their home for many years to come.
